These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website ecaterran.com, owned by Ecaterran S.A.S. By using the site, you expressly accept these terms.
1. Purpose
The website provides information about the collective lending platform operated by Ecaterran S.A.S., authorised by the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance of Ecuador.
2. Eligibility
To invest through the platform you must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity under the Ecuadorian Civil Code and pass our identity verification (KYC) and source-of-funds checks.
3. Nature of the service
Ecaterran acts as a technology intermediary. We do not guarantee returns nor the recovery of loaned capital. Users acknowledge that investing entails the risk of total loss of capital.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the site (text, images, logos, source code) is the exclusive property of Ecaterran S.A.S. or its licensors and is protected under Ecuador's Intellectual Property Law.
5. Liability
Ecaterran shall not be liable for technical outages, cyberattacks, force majeure or acts of God. We recommend that users diversify capital and consult an independent financial advisor before investing.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the city of Quito, with both parties waiving any other jurisdiction.
